Work with the latest technologies and techniques in the aviation industry to source materials, manage inventory, and coordinate logistics. You’ll ensure we have what we need to service our customers.
As a Stockroom Clerk, you’ll perform visual inspections on receivables in accordance with quality standards and procedures. You’ll process incoming and outgoing piece parts following the Detailed Work Instructions and process rework parts while keeping a neat and tidy work area.
What you’ll do:
• Receiving parts and material into applicable inventories.
• Issuing parts and materials to work orders per reservations or requests, issuing parts to sales orders.
• Processing incoming and outgoing piece parts per the applicable DWI’s (Detailed Work Instruction).
• Operating the forklift to receive deliveries or send shipments.
• Processing rework parts
• Completing inventory audits and investigating discrepancies. Submit audits to the supervisor for approval.
• General administrative tasks and duties to ensure department efficiencies.
• Exercise good housekeeping: all responsible areas to be kept clean and tidy.
• Develop and manage Continuous Improvement initiatives in your assigned area.
What skills you will use:
• Possess a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Highly organized with the ability to multi-task.
• Demonstrated experience working with minimal supervision or direction.
• Dedicated commitment to providing superior, timely internal and external customer service.
• Strong problem solving, reasoning and decision making skills in a team environment.
• High attention to detail with good computer skills.
• Desire to grow, learn and work in a team environment.
• A keen focus on health and safety, productivity & throughput, quality and continuous improvement.
Preferred Characteristics:
• Experience in the field of inventory control, warehouse flow, document compliance is an asset.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain would be an asset.
