Job Title: Client Billing Analyst
Reports To: Client Billing Manager
Classification: Non-Exempt
Summary:
The Client Billing Analyst, is responsible for auditing Payroll data, reviewing discrepancies and completing the billing process based on cases received from Payroll and other departments weekly.
Essential Functions:
- Review of timesheet data input for both weekly and previous payroll periods based on Cases per Management Service Providers (MSPs).
- Maintain accurate record of billing, and timekeeping process while updating instructions for assigned facilities within Salesforce and communicating via the “Chatter” message application as well as including designated Account Managers and Operations counterparts with this information.
- Accurately create facility invoices within NetSuite and submit to clients if needed or to Accounts Receivable based on individual client contract terms.
- Review and assist with discrepancies of contractor time records in client portals based on cases received.
- Perform continuous audits of Cases and Invoicing with regards to billing terms and instructions prior to processing.
- Will be trained from various software programs such as NetSuite, Paycom, Salesforce, PeopleFluent, ShiftWise, etc.
- Reviewing and cross training with other MPS’s as well as new ones as needed.
- Responsible for reviewing, processing, and sending to Payroll any “Guaranteed hours” cases approved by a facility or submitted by a clinician.
- Communicating with Clients via phone and email regarding hours not accounted for.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- NetSuite or similar ERP software experience preferred.
- Salesforce experience a plus.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite programs, especially Excel and Word, required; knowledge of Access will be introduced within this role periodically.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for email or system communication.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong ability to multi-task as department or workload dictates.
- Ability to work collaboratively with all departments as well as function independently with minimal supervision.
- Manage time well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
- Communicate effectively with client facilities and their representatives in a professional manner via email and/or phone.
- Maintain confidential information in compliance with company policies.
- Work comfortably in a sales-driven environment and partner with other departments to provide solutions.
Education and Experience:
- Associate degree (or higher) in Accounting, Finance or related field or equivalent experience.
- Salesforce experience a plus.
- Experience performing accounting audits and reconciling discrepancies.
- NetSuite or similar ERP experience in a relevant accounting role preferred.
- Possess previous knowledge of general business accounting and financial flow.
Supervisory Responsibility:
This position will have no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment:
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and printers.
