What You'll Do:
- Process customer transactions, such as deposits and withdrawals, with a high level of accuracy while adhering to all bank policies and procedures.
- Support back-office operations by managing ATM maintenance, document scanning, and assisting in other teller functions as needed.
- Take ownership of each interaction, answering and screening phone calls, addressing customer questions, and resolving issues professionally.
- Actively listen to customers to understand and anticipate their financial needs, making appropriate referrals to other team members.
- Stay knowledgeable about our products and services, educating customers on options that can enhance their banking experience.
- Contribute to our community-driven mission by consistently delivering service that enhances customer satisfaction and trust.
- Perform other duties that support our team's goal of ensuring seamless operations and delightful customer experiences.
What We're Looking For:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous customer service and cash handling experience essential; retail experience is a plus.
- A proactive communicator with strong interpersonal skills and an exceptional attention to detail.
- Adaptability and reliability for a floating role that may require travel within York and surrounding areas.
- A collaborative mindset and a high level of integrity, especially in handling confidential customer information.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and familiarity with banking software systems is beneficial.
