Bring your big ideas knowing you are safe to be who you are and speak up with concerns or questions and put your diverse talents and perspectives to use. The Opportunity As the Client Director, you will have the opportunity to:Manage all aspects of large Engineering Procurement Construction (EPC)/Service projects, including risk to cost, schedule, qualityBe responsible for the day-to-day successful execution of contracted engineering, procurement, and construction scope in the areas of performance, financial metrics, planning, schedule, quality, contractual compliance, safety, and client satisfactionProvide for the successful staffing of the projectManage and lead large teams of multi-discipline professionalsCoordinate and integrate the activities associated with the engineering, procurement, construction, and startup elements of the project team, including the activities of all third party companies contributing to the initiativeThis role will be designated in our business traveler work schedule

Our business traveler work schedule includes BV professionals who travel consistently 60% or more of their work schedule and provide flexibility around being in an office location
 Days during travel weeks that are non-travel days, professionals may work in the office or at a remote location
 On non-travel work weeks, professionals may work in a BV office location 3 days a week and in a remote location 2 days a week
 The Team BV’s Governments & Environment business works to provide innovative solutions and integrated planning, design and construction support for mission-critical facilities, as well as threat reduction and environmental services support worldwide
By joining our business, you will be able to provide infrastructure for community benefit through regulated utilities and government agencies. Key ResponsibilitiesManages large engineering projects involving multiple clients or partners or medium EPC projects. Manages multiple clients and/or projects where the project team, client structure and/or project location present greater challenges. Obtains new/repeat business on large size projects; supports contract negotiations with clients. Manages multiple risks which includes fixed price or new technology or non-domestic markets or new clients. Preferred QualificationsTypically 12 years experience.Minimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.CertificationsNone specifiedSalary PlanPMT: Project ManagementJob Grade004Black & Veatch endeavors to make www.bv.com/careers accessible to any and all users
