ABC Animal is looking to hire an experienced veterinary receptionist.
Prior veterinary reception experience preferred.

About You:
- Uphold ethics and promote a culture that is positive and thoughtful.
- Minimum 1-year experience in a veterinary hospital.
- Passionate about veterinary medicine and animal well-being.
- Ability to give feedback to management and not partake in workplace gossip.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism when interacting with patients, clients, and coworkers.
Responsibilities Include:
- Greet clients and pets and provide them with a warm welcome.
- Answering phones, text messages, emails and assisting clients.
- Schedule appointments.
- Check clients and pets in and out. Handle payments.
- Procuring all appropriate documentation from owners and other hospitals.
- Client communications.
- Scan paper records into electronic medical files.
- Comfortable using multiple digital platforms (i.e.: Windows, Gmail, and Google Drive). Our software is Neo, a cloud platform, and we will train you if you have not used this program before.
- Provide basic information and advice to clients regarding veterinary services and products.
- Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians with administrative tasks as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized front office area.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum 1 year experience as a CSR in a veterinary hospital preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Flexibility to work weekends.

We are a newly renovated and privately owned small animal clinic. We have a 3300 square foot facility with 4 exam rooms, a large treatment area, a surgery suite. We offer on-call specialists that include: internal medicine, cardiology, and surgery.
