About the Job
The Treatment Center Coordinator in the department of Pediatric Dentistry is responsible to execute the daily Treatment Center activities under the direction and guidance of the Treatment Center Manager and the Clinical Program Director. The Treatment Center Coordinator is responsible to collaborate with faculty and residents to ensure that the Pediatric Treatment Center is running smoothly and serve as the contact person for all Pediatric Treatment Center matters for patients, residents, vendors, Client and the universities administrative staff. The Treatment Center Coordinator is responsible to assist the Treatment Center Manager and Clinical Program Director with treatment Center department activities to ensure efficient treatment center operation. The Treatment Center Coordinator responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Assist the Treatment Center Manager with addressing patient concerns related to treatment, finances, insurance, and billing errors/disputes. This includes answering general billing questions, making appointments, rescheduling appointments, managing and scheduling special patients in Salud and EPIC, special urgent appointments, coordinating emergency patients, and send return to treatment/ hard to contact/missed appointments communications to patients.
The Treatment Center Coordinator is responsible to review and edit the treatment center schedule in SALUD/EPIC, ensuring to fill treatment center schedules with department cancellation list and/or recall list.
This role would require the Treatment Center Coordinator to be able to check-in and check-out patients, receive and process patient payments, process patient appointment requests and make any other administrative changes to the patient's medical record as needed.
GSDM requires that all temp workers have the following immunizations or titers:
(2) doses of MMR vaccinations or positive Measles, mumps, rubella immune titer with lab results report
(2) doses of varicella vaccinations or positive varicella immune titer with lab results report
COVID-19 vaccinations and booster dose
TB IGRA or T-spot blood testing within the last 3 months prior to hire
Hepatitis B vaccinations and positive hepatitis B immune titer with lab results report or signed declination form
Influenza vaccination
TDAP vaccination within the last 10 years
