- JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE
- Responsible for supervising the daily operations of the clinical staff of a medical clinic. Acts as a liaison between the back office and other clinic departments. Mediates issues between back office staff and physicians as well as other departments in the clinic.
- DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION
- The Urgent Care teams at Samaritan Health Services treat conditions that require immediate attention but are not considered to be life-threatening or severe enough to be cared for in the hospital emergency department.
- EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS
- Current unencumbered Oregon Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) or Paramedic licensure required.
- Two (2) years experience in a healthcare setting required (experience must include one (1) year as a Clinic Technician).
- One (1) year leadership/supervisory experience required.
- Healthcare Provider BLS required.

- Communication - Effective written and oral communication skills to explain complex issues, exchange information between team members, and tactfully discuss issues. Ability to perform group presentations and listen to and understand complex information and ideas.
