We are hiring a Senior Clinical Application Program Manager to join the Athena Health Care Systems I.T. team in Farmington!
This is an in-person position at our home office in Connecticut and will require occasional travel throughout Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island as needed. Schedule is Monday-Friday 9a-5p with a yearly salary ranging from $85,000 to $135,000. Weekly pay!

In this role, you spearhead and supervise our clinical application development initiatives across our network. You guide the program life cycle with a focus on ensuring the successful delivery and widespread adoption of clinical applications while reporting directly to the CIO.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's in clinical informatics, nursing, or related field.
- Five (5) or more years experience in program management, specifically in clinical application development.
- In-depth understanding of clinical systems, EHRs, and healthcare workflows including PointClickCare.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the planning, execution, and delivery of clinical application development programs.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with clinical stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain detailed program plans, roadmaps, timelines, and budgets.
- Allocate and manage resources efficiently to meet program objectives.
- Monitor and report on the utilization of resources, making adjustments as needed.
- Identify and proactively manage program risks and issues related to clinical applications.
- Develop contingency plans to address potential obstacles and ensure successful project delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including clinical staff, IT professionals, and external vendors.
- Implement and enforce quality assurance processes specific to clinical applications.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment on project objectives and priorities.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards for clinical systems.
- Conduct regular reviews and audits to assess program performance and adherence to quality standards.
