Memorial Rehabilitation Institute provides highly specialized care ranging from complex multiple trauma, stroke and brain injury to physical and speech therapy. Inpatient care is offered at Memorial Regional Hospital South, with outpatient care available in five different locations. We also have a home health team and resources for long-term care at Memorial Manor, while also offering therapy for pediatric developmental diagnosis through Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital.
Summary:
Provides evidenced-based clinical and art therapy assessment and treatment for adults, adolescents and children via individual or via group format. Completes psycho-social assessments plus family and individual sessions. Assists with treatment team meetings and discharge planning, training of residents, interns and healing arts therapists.
Responsibilities:
Provides evidence-based art therapy assessment and treatment either via individual or group format.Completes bio-psychosocial evaluations and treatment plans.Assists with discharge planning and community resources.Provides medical consultations, as needed.Assists with treatment team meetings.Assists with training of medical residents, psychology doctoral interns, and healing arts therapists.
