Position Overview
This Clinical Audiologist position is ideally focused solely on diagnostics; however, candidates who wish to work with hearing aids will have that opportunity. As an incremental hire due to increasing patient load, the successful Audiologist candidate will be part of a dynamic team of 7 Physicians, 5 Audiologists, 4 Advanced Practice Providers, and 2 Allergy Technicians.
The patient population includes pediatric and adult patients, with services including Cochlear Implant (CI) and Bone Anchored Hearing Aids (BAHA) procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostic audiological evaluations for pediatric and adult patients.
- Collaborate closely with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient care.
- Interpret and document test results accurately, communicating clearly to patients and medical staff.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a collaborative environment.
- Maintain a patient-first attitude, ensuring that all interactions are compassionate and focused on the well-being of the individuals served.
Requirements
- Doctoral degree in Audiology (Au.D.) or equivalent.
- Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Audiologist in Georgia.
- Experience with diagnostic audiology, including CI and BAHA, is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
