Location: Marquette, MI (On-site)
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement department goals, plans, and standards in alignment with the organization's objectives.
- Direct and evaluate departmental operations, including patient care delivery, service levels, information technologies, and compliance management.
- Oversee staffing activities, including hiring, orientation, evaluations, disciplinary actions, and ongoing education initiatives.
- Prepare, monitor, and evaluate the departmental budget to ensure adherence to allocated funding and manage internal and external audits.
- Foster an environment that promotes professional growth and encourages the integration of evidence-based practices into clinical operations.
- Implement evidence-based practices to enhance patient care outcomes and maintain clinical excellence.
Travel not required.
Requirements
YOU MUST BE AUTHORIZED TO WORK IN THE U.S. WITHOUT SPONSORSHIP NOW AND IN THE FUTURE.
- Master’s degree and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.
- Current RN licensure in the State of Michigan or compact licensure valid in Michigan.
- 10+ years of experience as an RN.
- 5+ years of experience as an RN in OB or NICU.
- 5+ years of management experience in a clinical setting.
- Expertise in clinical administration, NICU, and OB/GYN care.
- Experience managing a unionized workforce preferred.
- Strong capabilities in staffing, human resources, and budget management.
- Proficiency in healthcare information technologies and clinical management.
