Compensation: Hiring range is between $18.15-$23.75 per hour, and placement in the range is based on an evaluation of experience.
As a Clinical Lab Assistant you will perform tasks of lab report retrieval, report distribution, report filing and other lab process flows and clerical functions. Ensure accurate and timely data entry, scanning, and faxing. Provide excellent customer service on the phone and in person to all patients, doctors and other medical staff. Ensure proper patient identification and labeling of specimens. Follow all clinic and laboratory policies and procedures. Perform CLIA waived and moderate complexity testing. Must be able to troubleshoot, prioritize specimens (STAT, ASAP, Routine, Pre-op, etc.), multitask, and be flexible in order to accommodate the needs of the laboratory.

- Able to consistently demonstrate essential clinical competencies for this role.
- Ability to work under stressful conditions.
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
- Must be detail oriented and have strong organizational skills.
- Must be able to distinguish colors and shades.
Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of two years' experience working in a healthcare, laboratory, and/or combination of education and experience in phlebotomy or lab sciences preferred.
Pay Range:
$17.80 - $24.91

PTO and Personal Time accruals are pro-rated by FTE/hours worked. Non-benefits eligible employees will accrue Personal Time based on hours worked and State worked.
