Job Summary:
The primary purpose of the Clinical Manager is to manage, develop and grow the Clinical Liaison team to assess and provide disease management education and/or monitor members via remote monitoring tools--as well as utilizing the same standards in their own patient responsibilities under the supervision and prescription of a licensed physician.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure that all programs, practices, and policies/procedures meet the standard of patient care and scope of practice for all clinical services provided by Wellinks.
- Assist Director with planning and implementing strategic initiatives that promote improving patient satisfaction, employee engagement and development, achieving industry leading quality standards and clinical programs.
- Assist Director with monitoring and implementing relevant tasks to ensure program success and growth (onboarding, graduation rate, staff education/training).
- Address any/all system notifications received on a daily basis.
- Review, track and approve direct reports schedules and daily/ weekly visits.
- Track and manage all initial visits and status of each initial visit on a daily basis.
- Schedule, lead and conduct weekly team calls with team.
- Schedule, lead and conduct bi-weekly one-on-one employee calls.
- Schedule and lead audit performance evaluations for direct reports.
- In partnership with Human Resources, the Clinical Manager is responsible for departmental employee relations oversight, promoting employee engagement opportunities, personnel recruitment, personnel hiring and termination.
- Prepare and deliver annual reviews and goal setting for direct reports.
- After training period, the manager will be responsible for timely approval of all payroll activity.
- Other duties as assigned by Director to support Wellinks and its product lines.
Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements:
- High level of interpersonal and communication skills to provide effective leadership to direct reports with a diverse set of educational and clinical backgrounds. These skills are also needed to develop and maintain productive working relationships with other departments, clinical service groups, medical staff and external organizations/agencies
- Effective collaboration, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills as well as the ability to favorably influence a wide variety of people, including other managers/leaders, physicians, hospital associates, and patients.
- Knowledge and coaching skills to facilitate integration of performance improvement and employee engagement tools and techniques throughout the department.
- Minimum of an Associate’s degree in an allied health profession (Respiratory Therapy or Nurse preferred). State license(s) will also be required IF manager is required to provide direct patient care.
- Previous supervisory experience preferred.
- High level of initiative, organization, task management, attention to detail and follow through a must.
- As a condition of employment, qualified individual will be subject to a drug test and background check, including criminal history check, driving history and character references.
- Individual must possess a valid driver’s license, suitable driving history and be insurable (without conditions) by Company’s insurance carrier.
