Job Title: Oncology Sales Specialist - GU Oncology (OSS- GU)
Location: Territory will cover Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana (Ideal candidates should be based in Dallas or Houston)
Position Overview:
As an Oncology Sales Specialist focused on GU Oncology, you will drive the adoption and growth of our pioneering test within the GU Oncology space. Your role will involve engaging with Uro-Oncologists, Medical Oncologists, Pathologists, and other healthcare providers to surpass sales targets and expand market presence.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Territory Management: Develop and implement a comprehensive strategic plan to manage business performance and ROI. This includes daily sales activities, acquiring new accounts, retaining customers, and fostering cross-functional initiatives.
Relationship Development: Build and nurture strong relationships with physicians and key accounts. Provide education on our products, identify strategic opportunities, and deliver tailored solutions.
Product & Market Expertise: Gain deep knowledge of products, services, and processes, as well as competitors’ offerings and the payer/reimbursement landscape.
Sales Performance: Achieve sales targets by driving patient acquisition, enhancing user engagement, and expanding accounts. Collaborate with the Associate Clinical Oncology Specialist (ACOS) and internal teams to manage order renewals, resolve Missing Information (MI) issues, and oversee revenue and expenses.
KOL Engagement: Forge and maintain relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) in collaboration with the Medical team.
Opportunity Identification: Recognize and pursue business opportunities with academic and community cancer centers, clinics, and hospitals. Work with stakeholders to develop care pathways, establish institutional partnerships, and integrate with EMR systems.
Business Planning: Create and execute a detailed business plan that aligns with national goals and organizational values to attract and retain clients.
Sales Strategies: Implement effective sales strategies, marketing plans, and capitalize on opportunities for growth.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 5+ years of demonstrated success in sales within Gynecologic Oncology, Medical Oncology, Surgical, Pathology, or Laboratory sectors.
- In-depth knowledge of the GU Oncology market, molecular diagnostics, personalized medicine, and reimbursement processes.
- Willingness and ability to travel overnight as needed.
- Proven leadership, financial management skills, and strong communication abilities.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Physical Demands & Work Environment:
- Work is typically performed in medical offices or hospital settings.
- Requires proficiency in using a computer keyboard, communicating via telephone, and reading printed materials.
- May involve working outside standard hours, including evenings and weekends.
- 60-75% travel required.
