Role and Responsibilities
The Clinical Optimization Specialist is responsible for the optimization of all clinical areas, performing routine clinical audits, and assisting with the improvement and enhanced efficiency of acquisitions, DeNovos, and existing practices.
- Constantly seek to improve the patient experience and company vision, through site visits in the field as well as facilitating meetings, trainings, and projects.
- Identify opportunities to enhance patient and referral satisfaction.
- Collaborate with surgeon(s) and clinical team to integrate EHR processes.
- Resolve conversion issues from preliminary software integration to Care Stack.
- Create organizational development and team member training programs to new acquisitions and DeNovos.
- Monitor, analyze, and evaluate effectiveness of training-based program goals.
- Work with new and existing clinical team members to mentor and develop their skills, knowledge base, and patient communication skills.
- Support Paradigm Leadership with acquisitions and DeNovos building capabilities in clinical team members to perform at their optimal level post integration.
- Set goals and objectives and monitor performance through tracking mechanisms.
- Work within the budget to manage operational expenses and workforce headcount plans.
- Aid in application of procurement systems to educate team members on ordering and reconciling administrative and clinical supplies.
- Implement, adapt, and manage full arch and digital workflow initiatives.
- Travel to Oral Surgery practices up to 75% of the time.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- College degree in related field preferred.
- BLS certification required.
- Two years of clinical experience is required.
- Surgical or dental experience preferred.
Skills and Abilities
- Ability to travel and work a flexible schedule while simultaneously prioritizing job responsibilities.
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work as part of a comprehensive team.
- Ability to successfully implement new software and applications for acquisitions.
- High level understanding of all clinical job functions.
- Excellent customer service skills including written and verbal communication.
