Job Description​

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the conduct of research protocols in the hospital and clinic settings to ensure adherence to the protocol, institutional policies, and applicable federal and state regulations.  
• Screen and educate potential candidates about research protocols and obtains informed consent in accordance with institutional policy, IRB guidance, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Participate in sponsor site visits and investigator meetings for assigned clinical trials which may involve occasional travel.
• Coordinate education for all involved personnel.
• Document patient interactions and completes study data entry.  Communicates to investigators on the results of procedures and tests.
• Record research activities in hospital tracking systems.
• Collect and prepares laboratory samples.
• Maintain investigational product accountability.
• Schedule participants follow up visits according to the study protocol.
• Schedule and supports sponsor-initiated monitor visits for periodic reviewing and querying of collected data in a timely fashion.
• Support study procedures in the Cardiac Cath lab. Multi campus coverage will be required.
