Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the conduct of research protocols in the hospital and clinic settings to ensure adherence to the protocol, institutional policies, and applicable federal and state regulations.
- Screen and educate potential candidates about research protocols and obtains informed consent in accordance with institutional policy, IRB guidance, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Participate in sponsor site visits and investigator meetings for assigned clinical trials which may involve occasional travel.
- Coordinate education for all involved personnel.
- Document patient interactions and completes study data entry. Communicates to investigators on the results of procedures and tests.
- Record research activities in hospital tracking systems.
- Collect and prepares laboratory samples.
- Maintain investigational product accountability.
- Schedule participants follow up visits according to the study protocol.
- Schedule and supports sponsor-initiated monitor visits for periodic reviewing and querying of collected data in a timely fashion.
- Support study procedures in the Cardiac Cath lab. Multi campus coverage will be required.
