Overview:Clinical registered respiratory therapists provide illness management and health promotion for patients and families who require in-home respiratory care and services. Clinical registered respiratory therapists utilize the respiratory processes and knowledge of scientific principles to provide safe, high quality, comprehensive, and age appropriate respiratory care for their assigned patients in the home, clinic and/or home care facility. Clinical registered respiratory therapists provide patient and family education and advocate for their needs.

If you and have any concerns about receiving these vaccines, medical and/or religious exemptions can be further discussed with Human Resources.
Responsibilities:- Collaborates with the patient/caregiver and physician to develop and implement a safe, high quality, comprehensive, and age-appropriate plan of care which promotes independence and optimal patient outcomes.
- Meets the educational and informational needs of the patient and family and advocates for their needs.
- Maintains an environment that is safe, comfortable, efficient, and family centered.
- Promotes leadership, utilizes current research and evidence for practice to expand personal professional knowledge, enhance role performance, and improve respiratory care quality.
- Bachelor's Degree Accredited Respiratory Care Program and 1-2 years experience In Clinical Practice or
- Associate's Degree Accredited Respiratory Care Program and 3-5 years experience accepted in lieu of a Bachelor's degree
- Registered Respiratory Therapist
- Licensed Respiratory Therapist MO
- Licensed Respiratory Therapist KS
- Employees must obtain Licensed Respiratory Therapist KS or equivalent within 90 days
- RRT Registered Respiratory Therapist NBRC RRT Credential Required Upon Hire
- Current Driver's License and Car is required Required Upon Hire
- BLS, PEARS, NRP Required Upon Hire
- PALS Preferred Upon Hire
- RRT-NPS Certified Neonatal Pediatric Respiratory Therapist NBRC NPS Credential Preferred 1 Year

Our pay ranges are market competitive. The pay range for this job begins at $31.15/hr, but your offer will be determined based on your education and experience.
Remote Work/Work from Home:
This position is not eligible to work remotely, which means that the person hired will be required to work onsite at one of our Children’s Mercy locations and may not work from home.
