Responsibilities include:
- Perform clinical documentation integrity reviews and data analysis.
- Manage patient financial services clarification and amendment requests.
- Administer electronic health record access, structure and user interface.
- Coordinate patient care documentation improvement initiatives.
- Develop and conduct clinical documentation education and training.
- Liaise with patient financial services and region leadership to ensure documentation integrity.
- Conduct record audits to evaluate documentation practices and patient care.
- Collaborate on clinical practice guideline development as a member of the PHI clinical practice committee.
- Patient care or flight duty is not required.
- Build or maintain data repositories for use in quality improvement, risk management and patient billing.
- Design best-practice operational and administrative clinical workflows and processes.
- Leverage clinical experience and knowledge to develop and improve clinical care systems.
- Cultivate informatics expertise to support clinical care, operations, education, quality and billing.
- Collaborate in cross functional teams to meet enterprise goals.

The successful candidate will have:
- Registered Nurse, Paramedic, Respiratory Therapist or equivalent
- Licensed in state of residence
- Five years of direct patient care experience, transport experience preferred
- Quality improvement experience preferred
- High-Fidelity Simulation Training experience preferred
- Technical proficiency with Learning Management Systems (LMS)
- Knowledge of compliance and certification standards
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting
- High School or GED required
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Excellent writing, speaking and communication skills
- Effective human relations and interpersonal skills
- Working familiarity with Microsoft 365 business apps
- Current BLS certificate or equivalent
- Specialty certification or graduate certificate in clinical or administrative specialty
- This position is designated Safety Sensitive for purposes of the Arizona Medical Marijuana Act
