About the Job
Waukesha County's Mental Health Center is seeking a talented Clinical Therapist to join its team in providing primarily weekend and holiday hours with the occasional weekday.
The Waukesha County Mental Health Center operates a 16-bed psychiatric hospital for adults. Admissions are on a voluntary or involuntary basis.
A Clinical Therapist works with a multi-disciplinary team and is responsible for psychosocial assessments, discharge planning, developing social work interventions in treatment planning, providing group therapy, coordinating with community providers and payers, working with individuals and families.
The successful candidate will have a Mental Health Certification (LPC, APSW, LCSW), and experience with substance use treatment. (Those with "In Training" certification status will be considered.)
Work Schedule: Hours are primarily weekend and holiday coverage with flexibility for exact time of the day with a need for 6-8 hours each day. Weekday hours are needed to backfill the full-time staff when they are out of the office.
