Summary: The Clinician supports Bridgewell's mission by providing individual, family, and/or group psychotherapy and crisis intervention services to individuals with psychiatric and/or developmental disabilities.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 9:00am- 5:00pm (40 hours)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Complete diagnostic intakes, treatment plans, goals and objectives, transfer/discharge summaries, and progress notes for assigned caseload.
- Provide individual and/or family counseling with clients on assigned caseloads.
- Coordinate services and collaborate with internal and external providers.
- Provide case management, care coordination, advocacy, and individual and family support to assigned clients as well as other cases as designated by the Clinic Director.
- Participate in clinical team and/or weekly supervision meetings.
- Participate in agency Clinical Risk Team Meetings (CRTs) as appropriate/requested.
- Maintain client records according to regulatory standards.
- Provide clinical support to Bridgewell programs as needed/appropriate. This may include individual supervision of staff or interns, running group supervision meetings, facilitating therapy groups, and assisting with EAP cases that arise as needed and if appropriate.
- Maintain a productivity standard of a minimum of 30 billable hours per week on average over each quarter. Will be audited monthly to ensure compliance.
- Complete Utilization Review documentation follow-up promptly.
- Facilitate referrals to other agencies/vendors when appropriate.
- Adhere to all agency policies and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Required Education/Experience:
- Masters Degree in social work, psychology, education, or counseling.
- Massachusetts state license preferred.
- Experience working with people with mental illness and/or developmental disabilities.
Required Skills/Knowledge:
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must have excellent organizational skills.
- Must have the ability to focus on and assess the clinical needs of clients and design indicated treatment goals and objectives.
- Must be self-motivated and able to work both independently and in a team setting.
Physical Demands:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to climb stairs.
- The employee must be able to drive a vehicle.
- Must have a normal range of eyesight with or without corrective lenses.
- Must have a normal range of hearing with or without corrective equipment.
