Location: Richmond, VA (Hybrid - 3 days onsite, 2 days remote)

Must-Have Skills & Experience:

• ETL & BI: 10+ years of experience delivering business data analysis and implementing ETL processes and business intelligence solutions.
• Agile Business Analysis: 5+ years of experience as an Agile Business Analyst with a strong understanding of Scrum concepts and methodology.
• Backlog Management: Experience organizing and maintaining Product and Sprint backlogs.
• Requirement Translation: Ability to translate client and product strategy requirements into dataset requirements and user stories.
• SQL Expertise: Exceptional experience writing complex SQL queries for SQL Server and Oracle.
• Azure Databricks: Experience with Azure Databricks for data processing and transformation.
• ESRI ArcGIS: Experience with ESRI ArcGIS for spatial data handling and analysis.
• Data Management: Experience with enterprise data management principles and practices.
• Microsoft Office Suite: Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, Visio, PowerPoint, Project Server).
• Reporting Systems: Experience with reporting systems, including operational data stores, data warehouses, data lakes, and data marts.
• Communication: Exceptional written and oral communication skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and customers.

• Data Stores: Experience designing solutions using various data stores (HDFS, Azure Data Lake Store, Azure Blob Storage, Azure SQL Data Warehouse, Azure Cosmos DB).
• Azure Technologies: Expertise in Data Factory v2, Data Lake Store, Data Lake Analytics, Azure Analysis Services, and Azure Synapse.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop systems to maintain the Data Asset Program, ETL processes, and business intelligence initiatives.
• Design and support the data warehouse database and table schemas for new and existing data sources.
• Work closely with data analysts, data scientists, and other data consumers to gather and populate data in the data hub and warehouse.
• Ensure smooth data integration and apply knowledge of database architectures.
• Create clear and visually engaging ETL and data designs, tables, documentation, and reports using Microsoft Office tools.
