Cloud Engineer, SeniorKey Role:Manages, administers, supports, and enhances cloud environments, ensuring continuous improvement and rapid problem resolution
Applies leading-edge principles, theories, and concepts and contributes to the development of new principles and concepts
Works on unusually complex problems and provides highly innovative solutions
Operates with substantial latitude for unreviewed action or decision mentors or supervises employees in both firm and technical competencies.Basic Qualifications:8+ years of experience with the design, deployment, and management of Cloud environments, including AWS or Azure8+ years of experience with system administration of Windows or Linux Operating SystemsExperience with leading teams of operations personnel in managing existing cloud or on-prem production systemsExperience with leading the architecting, building, and deploying of systems and applications in Cloud platformsExperience with the monitoring, maintenance, and security of critical infrastructure componentsKnowledge of foundational system administration principlesKnowledge of DoD accreditation processesTop Secret clearanceBachelor's degreeAbility to obtain 8570 IAT II or III Certification, including Security+ within 3 months of start dateAdditional Qualifications:Experience with leading a team of cloud professionals on projects or effortsExperience working with DoD (RMF ATO) systems requiring accreditationKnowledge of cloud infrastructure cost forecasting and trackingAbility to work through challenging security requirements and maintain complianceAWS or Azure CertificationClearance:Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.CompensationAt Booz Allen, we celebrate your contributions, provide you with opportunities and choices, and support your total well-being

The projected compensation range for this position is $96,600.00 to $220,000.00 (annualized USD)
