Job DescriptionTeamwork Management Inc. seeks a dynamic Cloud Ops Leader to spearhead our cloud operations and contribute to pre-sales activities. This role demands a hands-on approach to managing cloud infrastructure while showcasing technical expertise during sales. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing cloud solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving technical discussions with potential clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Cloud Operations:
- Cloud Infrastructure Design and Implementation: Architect and deploy scalable and secure cloud infrastructure on major platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Cloud Cost Optimization: Continuously monitor and optimize cloud resource utilization to achieve cost efficiency.
- Automation & DevOps: Implement automation tools and practices to streamline software development, testing, and deployment.
- Monitoring & Performance: Set up comprehensive monitoring and alerting systems to ensure infrastructure health and performance.
- Security & Compliance: Implement and maintain security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Troubleshooting & Incident Management: Lead incident response and resolution efforts, minimizing service disruptions.
Pre-Sales:
- Technical Expertise: Serve as a subject matter expert during pre-sales meetings, demonstrating deep technical knowledge and understanding of client needs.
- Solution Design: Collaborate with sales teams to design tailored cloud solutions that address client requirements.
- Proof of Concepts (PoCs): Lead the development and execution of PoCs to showcase the capabilities of proposed solutions.
- Presentations & Demos: Deliver technical presentations and demos to prospective clients.
- RFP/RFI Responses: Contribute to the preparation of technical proposals and responses to RFPs/RFIs
- Proven track record in cloud operations, ideally with experience in a leadership role.
- Hands-on expertise with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Strong understanding of cloud architecture, networking, security, and DevOps principles.
- Experience with infrastructure automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, etc.).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience: 8 – 10+ years
