Job Title: Collections Manager
Job Summary:
The Collections Manager will oversee and manage the collections department, ensuring the timely recovery of outstanding account balances, maintaining client relationships, and supporting the company's overall financial health. This role will involve strategizing to optimize collections processes, leading a team, and reporting to the Accounting Manager. The Collections Manager is critical in upholding the company's core values of service, relationships, and character.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the collections team
- Develop strategies to improve collections and reduce overdue accounts
- Monitor accounts receivable and collections performance metrics
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies
- Collaborate with the Accounting and Finance departments
- Maintain positive relationships with clients
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the collections department, ensuring timely recovery of outstanding account balances
- Develop and implement strategies to reduce overdue accounts and improve cash flow
- Monitor and manage a portfolio of accounts receivable, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of collections activities, including aging reports
- Lead and mentor the collections team, providing guidance on best practices and professional development
- Maintain positive client relationships by addressing concerns and negotiating payment arrangements when necessary
- Ensure compliance with relevant collections regulations and industry standards
- Collaborate with other departments, such as Sales and Customer Service, to resolve account discrepancies and facilitate payment collections
- Support month-end closing procedures, financial reporting, and assist with audits as needed
- Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of collections efforts
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in collections or accounts receivable, with at least 2 years in a managerial role
- Strong knowledge of collections regulations and industry best practices

Compensation:
- Competitive salary range of $30-32 per hour
