Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented B2B Collections Specialist to join our Finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the collections process for our business-to-business (B2B) clients, ensuring timely and accurate payments, and maintaining excellent relationships with our corporate customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage B2B Accounts: Monitor and manage assigned accounts to ensure timely collection of outstanding invoices.
- Payment Reconciliation: Accurately reconcile accounts and payments to resolve discrepancies.
- Customer Interaction: Maintain regular communication with customers regarding outstanding payments, payment terms, and disputes.
- Dispute Resolution: Investigate and resolve any billing issues or disputes in a timely manner to ensure payments are processed.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit regular reports on account status, past due amounts, and collections forecasts to the Collections Manager.
- Credit Hold: Recommend accounts for credit hold or write-offs based on aging and risk assessments.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve collections processes and customer experience.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in B2B collections or accounts receivable.
- Skills: Strong understanding of accounting and finance principles related to collections.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
- Technology: Proficient in Microsoft Excel, ERP systems, and collections software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks).
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field preferred.
