Collections Specialist - Fortive Corporation

About the Job
This position ensures timely and accurate invoicing and collection of customer payments in accordance with company policies, processes, and procedures. This position requires strong communication skills, organization skills, and attention to details.
**Specific Responsibilities**
+ Responsible for preparation and delivery of customer invoicing
+ Invoice new software and subscription orders which include the following components: services, 3rd party hardware, and SaaS subscriptions
+ Prepare and process annual SaaS renewal quotes and invoices, ensuring timely delivery to the customer
+ Ensure that invoices accurately reflect agreed upon terms and conditions and any supporting documentation
+ Maintain and update customer records and contacts using accounting software
+ Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and errors, including external and internal inquiries regarding billing. Research and monitor unapplied payments, process customer refunds and payments when applicable
+ Contact business customers/clients by phone, email, or mail regarding their accounts to collect past due accounts
+ Resolve customer disputes to ensure barriers to payment such as proper approvals, expired purchase orders, and disputes are identified and remediated
+ Analyze, organize, and provide status updates and feedback regularly on the status of past due accounts, collection efforts, and advise of any recommended escalations
+ Perform other duties and responsibilities as needed by the accounting team
**Qualifications**
+ 1+ years of relevant invoicing experience.
+ Experience with large customer base, strong work ethic.
+ Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
+ Organized with strong attention to detail; strong analytical skills required.
+ Ability to work independently while also being a team player.
+ Ability to multi-task and manage a changing workload

This position is also eligible for bonus as part of the total compensation package.
The pay range for this position (in local currency) is $17.30 - $32.11 hourly. Base pay offered may vary depending on various factors, including, but not limited to: job-related knowledge; skills; experience; and other eligibility factors such as geographic location.
