Collector/Loan Adjustor - PremierOne Credit Union

We are now seeking a Collector/Loan Adjustor who has:

• One to three years collections experience
• Previous financial institution experience
• Excellent communication and member service skills
• Compassionate and understanding nature
• Advanced conflict resolution skills

The successful candidate will help preserve the credit union's assets by controlling delinquent loan accounts, collecting delinquent loan payments and/or recovering collateral. This position will work closely with judicial departments, law enforcement agencies and attorneys to minimize loss to the credit union.

Essential Job Functions include:

• Work with members to resolve early delinquency issues.
• Work within corporate policies and state, federal and credit union regulations in the area of collections.
• Maintain excellent records regarding delinquencies, credit reporting, etc. Be able to provide management with associated reports and data.
• Assist in processing of repossessions, small claims, litigation and bankruptcies.

Education and Qualifications

• One to three years of collections experience.
• Financial Institution/Credit Union experience
• Two-year college degree or completion of a specialized certification or licensing

Salary Range: $29.00 to $35.00 per hour
