Colorectal Surgeon Educator HUP - University of Pennsylvania

The Department of Surgery at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of colorectal surgery. Applicants must have an M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree. They must also be certified by the American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery or foreign equivalent or eligible for such certification.



Teaching responsibilities may include clinical and didactic instruction and supervision of medical students, surgery residents and colorectal surgery fellows.



Clinical responsibilities may include care for patients presenting with colorectal concerns.



This position will be housed at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, flagship of the University of Pennsylvania Health System. Applicants with robotic surgical experience will be preferred.
