About the Job
United Wholesale Mortgage has an exciting opportunity for a Command Center Operator. In this position, you will respond and assist security personnel in reporting emergency and non-emergency events from our State of the Art Security Command Center. You will be responsible for monitoring multiple security systems to aid in the safety and security of all team members, guests, visitors and properties. In addition, you will be required to detect unfavorable situations, dispatch security officers, and make proper notifications to the appropriate level of management.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Meeting the physical requirements of the job and the ability to work in the environmental conditions listed below to perform common security functions and duties;
- Perform operator duties supporting a 24/7 Security Operations Center
- Monitor and operate security systems to include intrusion detection, fire alarm, access control, environmental alarms, Zerofox, Singlewire and CCTV systems
- Perform duties related to Crisis Management and Emergency Operations
- Monitor social media websites to protect the company brand.
- Conduct investigations on all types of incidents.
- Managing extensive inbound and outbound calls in a timely manner
- Complete Daily Activity Logs on the security network drive to document the activities that occur during each shift.
- Actively learn and become proficient at responding to all emergency events. (Medical Emergencies, Severe Weather, Fire Events, Suspicious Persons/Vehicle and Suspicious Packages.
- Identify, develop, implement, and maintain Company security processes and asset protection standards across all business units to reduce risks, respond to incidents and limit exposure to liability in all areas
- Provide excellent customer service when dealing with team members, guests, visitors and Contractors.
- Follow procedures in dispatching personnel for emergency and non-emergency situations.
- Ability to work varying shifts, weekends and holidays to support 24/7/365 coverage as necessary.
- Monitor all radio traffic and dispatch Security Officers as needed.
- Ability to follow our Service Now Ticket process and ticket requests.
- Perform duties for our new hire process.
- Print all badge related requests.
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
Must Have Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Knowledge of social media platforms including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Reddit, Linkedin etc.
- Demonstrated skill in the use of computers and software ie: email, databases, spreadsheets, and Web-based applications
- Strong writing skills and an ability to project a professional and consistent demeanor
- Maintain confidentiality with regard to company information.
- Ability to recognize and report suspicious behavior and activity in and around company property.
- Prior Security Command Center experience.
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with team members, vendors and the public, to understand and follow standard operating procedures, to perform duties in a professional manner and appearance and to write and investigate required reports.
- Associate degree in related field
- Must demonstrate good moral fitness and ethical standards
- Meet minimum requirements set by insurer to drive a company vehicle
- Availability to work the shift of 10:00PM to 6:00AM (1 hour lunch).
- Ability to prioritize decisions based upon multiple criteria and identifiable standards of policies and procedures.
- Ability to work independently with little or no supervision.
- Thorough knowledge of emergency procedures; ability to manage emergency situations while handling normal command center functions.
- Successfully pass a Drug Screening test.
Nice to Have Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field.
- Prior Law Enforcement, Military or Security experience.
- Cyber Security Intelligence a plus.
