We are developing the future of Army Aviation with the Bell Future Long-Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA) part of the US Army’s Future Vertical Lift (FVL) modernization effort. We are also developing the Bell 525 Relentless and Bell's High-Speed Vertical Take-Off and Landing (HSVTOL) program, a next-generation stop-fold tilt-rotor. This position is onsite in Fort Worth.
Sales Operations
Bring your experience and ideas to help us develop sales opportunities that meet customer needs and support business objectives. You’ll work with sales teams, contracts managers, and our production sites to develop solutions that maximize product availability. This role requires strategic planning, cross-functional collaboration, and swift real-time execution and is integral to the success of our sales and operations teams.
What you’ll be doing as a Commercial Business Operations Manager
+ Allocating and managing aircraft through the completion and delivery process ensuring on-time deliveries, full allocation reports, and deliveries to meet financial targets.
+ Managing the Customer Configuration Process by managing activities with sales, contracts, completion centers and ensuring timely gathering of customer configuration enabling the efficient manufacturing & completion of commercial aircraft.
+ Tracking and following up on open PA (Purchase Agreement) amendments ensuring aircraft configuration requirements (kits, interior, exterior) are received timely to support IO requirements (metric = configuration shortage report).
+ Developing and maintaining a systematic process of notifying the commercial business team of aircraft delivery readiness, identifying any potential production delays, production changes, certification gaps, or other items potentially impacting delivery to contract.
+ Driving weekly deliveries by positively influencing sales & contracts organization for the prompt acceptance and delivery of aircraft following completion; providing weekly updates on the latest completion date and aircraft available for delivery.
+ Managing aircraft availability and allocation to support sales opportunities and AOP (Annual Operating Plan), ensuring aircraft is allocated appropriately to meet company financial objectives and customer requirements.
+ Supporting new commercial business development in maintaining applicable confidentiality, aiding in the support of the expansion of the Sales and Marketing organization, including business case studies, etc. involved in establishing international sales offices ensuring timely and accurate business case studies prepared in support of the organization's needs.
Qualifications
Skills You Bring To this Role
+ 5 years of experience in the aviation industry or military aviation experience in manufacturing, maintenance, operations, or completion will be considered.
+ Knowledge of crew loading/span time estimating for manufacturing or completions.
+ Experience with budget and cost management.
+ Demonstrated knowledge of FAA / foreign air regs. affecting aircraft certification & delivery.
+ Demonstrated success working in IPT / matrix organizations in aerospace.
What you need to be successful
+ Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, or a related technical field.
+ Experience working in Salesforce is preferred.
