Commercial Cleaning Lead (Nights) - Nesco Resource, LLC

Nesco Resource is sourcing a dedicated Commercial Cleaning Lead for our client in Madison Heights, MI. This direct hire position is ideal for an experienced leader who prioritizes exceptional customer service while overseeing a team of commercial kitchen cleaners. Your proactive leadership will ensure high-quality cleaning services that consistently exceed client expectations.

Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:00 PM - 3:00 AM
Pay: $24.05 per hour
Employment Type: Direct Hire

Key Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership: Directly manage and motivate a team of 2-6 commercial kitchen cleaners, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
• Training & Development: Onboard and train new team members on effective cleaning techniques and equipment usage.
• Workload Management: Ensure equitable distribution of tasks among team members and maintain high performance standards at job sites.
• Logistics & Coordination: Oversee the loading and transportation of cleaning equipment to various job locations, ensuring all necessary supplies are prepared and available.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough inspections of completed work to guarantee adherence to company cleaning standards and customer satisfaction.
• Chemical Management: Prepare and manage cleaning chemical mixtures in compliance with safety regulations.
• Hands-On Cleaning: Actively participate in cleaning various commercial kitchen areas, including equipment, floors, walls, and hoods.
• Warehouse Tasks: Perform various warehouse tasks when not on-site, including inventory management and maintaining cleanliness.

Qualifications:

• Experience: At least 1 year in a commercial cleaning environment, with experience in kitchen cleaning preferred.
• Leadership Skills: Strong ability to lead and motivate a team, with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Reliability: Dependable, trustworthy, and committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
• Technology Proficiency: Comfortable using electronic devices such as smartphones, tablets, and computers for job-related tasks.
• Driving Record: Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record; capable of operating a company vehicle.
• Flexibility: Willingness to adjust work hours based on job site availability.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach frequently; must be able to lift/move 35-50 pounds and push/pull up to 150 pounds.
• Comfortable working in hot environments and with cleaning chemicals.
