A leading firm in the commercial construction industry, known for delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget, is looking for an Estimator that has experience with Commercial Ground-up Projects.
Commercial Construction Estimator Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Commercial Construction Estimator. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for commercial construction projects. This role requires strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of construction processes, and the ability to work effectively with project stakeholders.
Commercial Construction Estimator Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze project plans, specifications, and requirements to develop comprehensive cost estimates.
- Solicit and evaluate bids from subcontractors and suppliers.
- Prepare detailed bid proposals and present them to clients.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and clients to ensure estimates align with project goals and budgets.
- Monitor project costs and provide updates as necessary.
- Maintain and update estimating databases and documentation.
- Stay current with industry trends, costs, and regulations.
Commercial Construction Estimator Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial construction estimating.
- Proficient in estimating software (e.g., PlanSwift, Bluebeam).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
