Position Overview: We are looking for an accomplished Commercial Lines Account Executive with 7-10 years of experience to lead our commercial lines department. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in commercial insurance and the ability to manage and mentor a team of insurance professionals. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of commercial insurance products, exceptional client management skills, and the ability to drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key commercial clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.
- Account Oversight: Oversee the management of commercial lines accounts, including policy placement, renewals, and endorsements. Ensure accuracy and compliance with client needs and industry regulations.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and support a team of account managers and service staff. Foster a collaborative and high-performance environment.
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand our commercial lines portfolio. Develop strategies to attract and retain clients.
- Market Analysis: Stay abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to provide strategic insights and recommendations.
- Problem Resolution: Address and resolve complex client issues and concerns with professionalism and efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in commercial lines insurance, with a demonstrated track record of success in account management and client service.
- Leadership: Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role, with strong skills in team management, mentorship, and performance enhancement.
- Industry Knowledge: Comprehensive knowledge of commercial insurance products, coverages, and industry regulations.
- Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Certifications: Relevant insurance licenses (e.g., Property & Casualty) and professional designations (e.g., CPCU, CIC) preferred.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Risk Management, Insurance, or a related field is preferred.
