As the Commercial Underwriter, you will be primarily responsible for recommending approval or denial of commercial loans in compliance with credit union standards, preparing credit memorandums for consideration of commercial loan approval and completing reviews of existing commercial portfolio as per review schedule. What We’re Looking For (Qualifications):
- At least 2 years of similar or related experience, preferably in a bank or credit union
- College degree in a related field
- Experience in commercial underwriting is required
- Knowledge of credit-related laws
- Knowledge of commercial real estate market and trends

What You’ll Do as the Commercial Underwriter (Responsibilities):
- Accurately collect, analyze, and interpret credit bureau and financial data.
- Ensure daily assignments have been completed including processing credit memos and ensure loan review deadlines are met.
- Maintain and provide reporting requirements on borrowers' obligations.
- Provide informed, professional, accurate service and support to all members and associates.
- Develop and maintain knowledge and ability to understand and evaluate financial and quantitative concepts and data.
- Provide high quality recommendations in credit memos produced to ensure success of the commercial lending department.
Pay: $70,012 - $87,516 / year, based on experience + annual bonus!
