Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Community Manager to join the Heart & Soil team. As our Community Manager, you will play a crucial role in our retention marketing efforts by fostering a vibrant and engaged community of individuals who share our mission of radical health and vitality. You will be responsible for building relationships, facilitating discussions, and creating a positive and supportive environment within our community.

You possess business acumen and love communicating directly with customers. You understand retention marketing and brand building, and you know how to position products within a community experience. You think outside the box and are capable of creating and executing a community strategy that aligns with Heart & Soil's customer journey and organizational goals.
What You Will Do:
- Assist in developing the strategy to launch our new community to our full subscriber base, using best practices.
- Manage the Heart & Soil community via our branded app, aligning with both the community and customer experience strategies.
- Oversee moderation and facilitation of our animal-based Facebook group.
- Lead the integration of our AB30 strategy and workflows into our online communities.
- Cultivate a thriving and engaged community by ensuring the CX teams proactively interact with members, respond to inquiries, and foster meaningful discussions.
- Facilitate the creation of engaging content that stimulates discussions, provides valuable information, and promotes participation, including webinars, resources, and more.
- Meet or exceed KPIs related to community growth and engagement.
- Support retention marketing KPIs, including low churn rates, high repeat rates, and high lifetime value (LTV) for subscribers.
- Monitor and moderate community activities to ensure a positive and respectful environment for all members.
- Collaborate with the marketing and customer experience teams to align community initiatives with broader business goals.
- Identify opportunities for community growth and engagement, including partnerships, events, and collaborations.
- Gather insights and feedback from community members to inform product development, marketing strategies, and customer experience improvements.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging health information, and relevant topics to provide valuable and accurate information to the community.
- Develop and implement community guidelines and policies to maintain a productive environment.
- Uphold the values and principles of Heart & Soil, ensuring all community interactions reflect our mission.
Who You Are:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated business acumen and experience in developing and deploying marketing strategies.
- Proven experience building and managing a community for an e-commerce brand, preferably in the health and nutrition space.
- Experience working within a larger marketing team and creating strategies that align with overall marketing goals.
- Strong passion for community management and fostering engagement.
- Deep interest in health, nutrition, and the mission of Heart & Soil.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Exceptional relationship-building and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to moderate and mediate discussions effectively.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and community management tools (experience with Circle is a plus).
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently.
- Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative ideas.
- Results-oriented with a focus on meeting deadlines.
