In this dynamic role, you'll be the driving force behind a successful and vibrant residential community. You'll leverage your leadership skills, financial expertise, and customer service focus to create a seamless experience for residents, future residents, and the entire team.
- Leadership & Team Development: You'll build a strong team by recruiting top talent, providing ongoing training, and fostering a positive and productive work environment. By setting clear goals and empowering your team, you'll cultivate a sense of ownership and drive success.
- Financial Management: The financial health of the community rests on your shoulders. You'll meticulously craft and manage budgets, generate comprehensive reports, and identify opportunities to maximize profitability. Open communication and strong vendor relationships are key to ensuring cost-effective operations.
- Leasing & Resident Experience: You'll spearhead the leasing process, ensuring exceptional service for both current and prospective residents. From overseeing applicant screening to managing the leasing office and model apartments, you'll play a vital role in attracting and retaining residents. Additionally, you'll maintain a visually appealing and well-maintained property, prioritizing resident safety and addressing any concerns promptly.
Here's what a typical day might look like:
- Reviewing team performance metrics and providing coaching opportunities.
- Analyzing financial reports and identifying areas for optimization.
- Overseeing the leasing process and interacting with prospective residents.
- Conducting property inspections and addressing any maintenance issues.
- Building rapport with residents and fostering a sense of community.
The ideal candidate possesses the following qualifications:
- Previous lease-up experience.
- 3-5 years of community management experience in high end properties.
- Proven leadership experience with a track record of building and motivating teams.
- Strong financial acumen, with experience in budgeting and reporting.
- Excellent customer service skills and a passion for exceeding expectations.
- Ability to multi-task effectively and manage a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software.
