Salary: Starting at $17.00/hour

Our services include emergency shelter, court injunctions, and a domestic abuse hotline.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CASE MANAGER
As a Domestic Violence Case Manager, you will:
- Provide direct assistance and case management to survivors of domestic violence.
- Work with survivors to determine needs, set goals, and develop service plans.
- Conduct lethality assessments, crisis counseling, and facilitate support and life skills groups.
- Advocate and assist with legal, financial, medical, mental health, educational, employment, housing, and other social services for survivors and their children.
- Facilitate referrals to community service providers to accomplish service plan goals.
- Conduct follow-up meetings to assess progress and identify further assistance needs.
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate documentation for compliance with funding sources.
- Collaborate with the case management team, community services, advocates, and IFP attorneys to ensure effective service coordination.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR A CASE MANAGER
- Degree in social work, counseling, or a related field OR equivalent professional experience
- One year of social services case management experience
- Ability to provide effective and immediate crisis intervention for survivors
- Ability to facilitate support groups
- Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office and database software
- Ability to complete CORE competency training within 30 days of hire
- Valid Florida driver's license and insurable driving record
