Our client, based in Boston, is looking for a Compensation Analyst to assist in the development and administration of their compensation programs.
Job Description:
- Provide day-to-day compensation administration to support schools, units, and departments.
- Assists departments with reviewing and updating position descriptions; perform market analyses and provide reports and data for compensation-related decisions.
- Review positions to ensure internal and external equity and FLSA compliance.
- Conduct and participate in multiple University and General Industry compensation market surveys.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent is required, preferably in HR, business or related field.
- CCP designation preferred or taking classes towards certification.
- One to three years of human resources experience, preferably compensation.
- Previous higher education experience a plus!
- Knowledge of applicable federal and state laws relating to compensation and pay equity.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Strong problem solving, decision-making, organizational and analytical skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work with numbers and large volumes of data with accuracy and speed.
- Advanced skills in the use of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access and HRIS systems.
- Working knowledge of SAP and MarketPay preferred.
