In this role you will be responsible for delivering specialized support for, and administration of, Jerry's leave, benefits and compensation programs and projects while our regular employee is on a leave commencing approximately mid-November 2024. You will work with a dynamic, fast-moving HR team that focuses on delighting our customers, supporting each other, and having fun at work while being highly productive.
Duties include:
- Providing responsive, timely customer service to our Team Members, plan participants, management team, broker, carriers, vendors and other customers.
- Administration Jerry's health and welfare benefits program day-to-day, including serving as the primary point of contact for participants, carriers, and our broker. You will have a pivotal role in making our annual benefits open enrollment project successful.
- Administration of Jerry's statutory leave programs and compliance including FMLA, OFLA, and Oregon PFML including acting as the primary point-of-contact for our participants, broker, and our PFML equivalent plan carrier. Some workers compensation claim administration may be included dependent on experience, workload and other factors.
- Providing support for our annual compensation review process, and communication programs relating to our 401 (k) and ESOP.
- Helping your team members when help is needed.
- Other responsibilities as needed
Requirements
- A genuine desire to help and provide an excellent service experience to all of those you come in contact with.
- Demonstrable experience managing leave and benefits programs for groups of greater than 50 employee participants. Prior compensation program administration experiences a plus.
- Ability to handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
- Excellent prioritization, organizational, time management, and both written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity and proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint, with a demonstrated ability to utilize higher-level features across all of these applications.
Compensation
- Commensurate with experience
Schedule
- Regular office hours Monday through Friday. Greater than 40 hours per week during peak activity periods.
- Duration anticipated to be ASAP through March, 2025. Ideal candidates will be available early October 2024, leaving approximately one month of overlap to train with our employee!
