Compensation Programs Analyst - Google

This role may also be located in our Playa Vista, CA campus. Minimum qualifications: + Bachelor's degree in Economics, Statistics, Business Administration, or another field that uses quantitative analysis, or equivalent practical experience. + 5 years of experience in analytical HR role, investment banking, management consulting (e.g., strategy, compensation) or similar analytical role. + Experience using analytical methods, tools, and mathematical concepts to identify, design, recommend, and implement compensation solutions. + Experience with HR policies, practices, principles, state and federal employment laws, and related regulations. Preferred qualifications: + Bachelor's degree Economics, Psychology, Statistics, Business Administration, or another field that uses quantitative analysis, or equivalent practical experience. + 3 years of experience in investment banking, strategy consulting, executive compensation consulting, or similar fields. + Experience in managing large data sets. + Experience with SQL or R. + Ability to consult/present findings to stakeholders. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $111,000-$163,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Learn more about benefits at Google (https://careers.google.com/benefits/) . + Build robust data models and analyses leading into each compensation planning cycle and manage tools and resources available for the organization's use during compensation planning. + Build reusable technology to scale and sustain program delivery and reusable analytics to automate insights and findings. + Manipulate large data sets and convey findings to leadership. + Participate in the research, development, and administration of assigned compensation programs, and monitor program success. Create, consult, and review compensation policies and processes. + Work on projects such as deep dives, performance rating analysis and compensation policies.
