Overview:
As a Concessions Bartender, you play a vital role in providing exceptional service and ensuring guest satisfaction in concession areas. You are responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, maintaining cleanliness and organization behind the bar, and upholding compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
This role will pay an hourly rate between $11.40 plus tips
Benefits for PT roles: 401(k) savings plan and 401(k) matching. Also, OVG provides part-time, seasonal, and internship employees with one hour of accrued paid leave per 30 hours worked, up to 48 hours per year.
This position will remain open until Oct 31, 2024
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve beverages according to established recipes and procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including stocking supplies and cleaning utensils.
- Provide friendly and efficient service to guests, taking orders accurately and efficiently.
- Verify the age of guests purchasing alcoholic beverages and ensure compliance with legal drinking age requirements.
- Handle cash and credit transactions accurately, including operating a cash register.
- Uphold health and safety standards in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor inventory levels and notify management when supplies need to be replenished.
- Assist in maintaining overall cleanliness and appearance of the concession stand area.
- Follow all sanitation and food handling procedures to ensure the safety of guests and staff.
- Collaborate with other concession team members to provide excellent customer service and support.
- Previous experience in bartending or customer service, preferably in a concession or hospitality setting.
- Knowledge of beverage recipes, including cocktails, beer, and wine.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in preparing and serving beverages.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating orders.
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Compliance with all relevant health, safety, and alcohol service regulations.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects (up to 25 pounds).
- Positive attitude and a commitment to providing exceptional guest experiences.
