Bertolet Construction LLC is seeking a talented and experienced Concrete Finisher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for smoothing and finishing surfaces of poured concrete floors, walls, sidewalks, and curbs. • Signal concrete deliverers and direct concrete into forms.
• Spread concrete into inaccessible sections using a rake or shovel.
• Level concrete to specified depth and consistency with handheld screeds, vibra screeds, and bull floats.
• Smooth and shape surfaces of freshly poured concrete with magnesium floats.
• Operate power trowels and finish concrete surfaces by hand.
• Mold expansion joints and edges, and adjust subgrade work and forms.
• Mix and apply plaster to interior walls, ceilings, and partitions, ensuring a uniform finish.
• Complete necessary paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.

• Physical Requirements:
  • Able to stand for 30% of the time and walk 20% of the time on soil and concrete surfaces.
  • Capable of lifting up to 80 lbs and pushing/pulling weights up to 200 lbs.
  • Able to climb 5 feet, bend frequently, and work in both indoor (5%) and outdoor (95%) environments.
  • Comfortable working with tools such as shovels, hammers, trowels, and power tools.
• Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 2+ years experience in concrete finishing
• Mathematical Skills:
  • Basic arithmetic skills required (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Language Skills:
  • Fluent in English.
• Licenses and Certifications:
  • Valid Pennsylvania driver's license and reliable transportation required.
• Tools Required:
  • Trowel, magfloat, margin trowel, boots, claw hammer, tape measure, and small sledgehammer will be provided.
• Safety Equipment:
  • PPE including safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, knee pads, hard hats, and power tools will be provided.
