Job Description:
Reporting to the Director of Community Standards and Conduct, the Conduct Specialist provides support to the overall advancement of the student conduct administration. This position will serve as a conduct administrator that will investigate, adjudicate and resolve misconduct and academic dishonesty cases. The Conduct Specialist will also be a member of the Behavior Assessment and Intervention Team ( BAIT ) and meet with students and make campus referrals; facilitate educational workshops, training and outreach sessions for faculty, staff, students and the Discipline Committee; help develop office marketing and branding; assist with keeping the Student Code of Conduct up to date; and maintain confidentiality as required.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in college student personnel, student affairs, higher education administration, or related field and 1 year of experience working in student affairs, preferably in student conduct and/or residence life.
Preferred Education and Experience:
+ Master’s degree in related field
+ Knowledge, skills and experience working with college students in the college or university environment
+ Experience Maxient software system
+ Experience developing and facilitating training sessions and workshops
+ Experience as a University conduct officer
+ 1+ years’ experience working in university student affairs, preferably in student conduct and/or residence life
