Our client is a construction firm with a proven growth track record and a stable background. They are looking to add a Construction Accountant to their team.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$90k

Position Overview:

As the Construction Accountant, you would oversee and handle all accounting-related activities with new construction projects being developed. The Construction Accountant will assist with some bookkeeping and HR-related tasks and analyze all AP invoices.

Responsibilities of the Construction Accountant:

Review all accounting related to new construction projects.
Assist with job costing as the Construction accountant.
Legal documents review.
Assist with work in progress (WIP).
Take charge of journal entries and preparing financial statements.
Analyze financials.
Assist with insurance coverage management.
Assist with fixed assets and developments.

Qualifications for the Construction Accountant:

5 years of Construction Accounting experience.
Knowledge of Construction software.
Has vast knowledge of accounting related to construction projects.

Education Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
