Position: Full-Time | Exempt
Reports To: Estimating Director

Job Summary:
We are looking for a Construction Cost Estimator to prepare detailed project estimates and support bid proposal finalization. This role spans roofing, waterproofing, and electrical contracts, requiring close coordination with project teams to ensure precision and clarity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain estimating and bid schedules as directed.
• Perform quantitative takeoffs from plans or drawings.
• Review construction specs, bid documents, and site conditions.
• Obtain material, labor, and subcontractor quotes.
• Use estimating software and spreadsheets to build cost templates.
• Coordinate project scope with clients, contractors, architects, and engineers.
• Work with the sales team to deliver and review proposals with clients.
• Prepare submittal documents, including AutoCAD details, SDS sheets, and safety plans.
• Collaborate on bid follow-ups with the sales team.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Natural Sciences, or a related field.
• Background in finance or business; estimating experience is a plus.
• Strong analytical, mathematical, and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs and proficiency in computer skills.
