Construction Inventory Control Specialist - SST Direct

DIRECT HIRE: A terrific opportunity for a detail-oriented and highly organized Inventory Control Specialist in the Atlanta, GA area.  This critical role involves managing and overseeing all aspects of inventory management, ensuring that materials and equipment are accounted for, properly tracked, and readily available for our ongoing projects. The Inventory Control Specialist will collaborate closely with various departments to monitor inventory levels, facilitate procurement processes, and implement efficient inventory control systems.

Salary: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage inventory levels to meet project demands.
• Conduct regular physical inventory audits to ensure accuracy and maintain accurate records.
• Implement and maintain inventory control systems and procedures.
• Utilize technology and software for inventory management.
• Coordinate the procurement of materials and supplies as needed.
• Collaborate with project managers to forecast inventory requirements.
• Analyze inventory data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
• Minimize losses, reduce downtime, and optimize resource allocation.
• Prepare and present inventory reports to management.
• Ensure the highest standards of inventory accuracy and integrity in a dynamic construction environment.

• Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, or a related field.
• Proven experience in inventory control or management within the construction industry.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data entry.
