Construction Laborer at TEKsystems

Description:

Construction laborers have many responsibilities, including: 

• Preparing construction sites
• Construction laborers often prepare sites by removing debris, digging trenches, and compacting earth. 
• Moving materials
• Construction laborers load and unload building materials, and position them according to instructions. 
• Operating machinery
• Construction laborers use hand and power tools, such as jackhammers, saws, drills, nail guns, and cement mixers. 
• Building and taking apart structures
• Construction laborers build or take apart scaffolding, bracing, and other temporary structures. 
• Assisting other tradesworkers
• Construction laborers assist other tradesworkers, such as electricians, plumbers, and carpenters. 
• Cleaning
• Construction laborers clean construction sites at the end of each workday. 
• Following directions
• Construction laborers must be able to listen to, understand, and follow directions. 

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Must be able to work off hour shifts and sometimes overtime
