Akkodis is seeking a Construction Manager for a Contract job with a client in Chandler AZ. The Construction Manager for Venues is responsible for overseeing all construction aspects of, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
Rate Range: $24/hour to $40/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Construction Manager job responsibilities include:
- Overseeing all aspects of construction projects, including vendor selection, on-site management, and coordination with subcontractors and customer representatives.
- Acting as a subject matter expert on construction issues related to tower modifications, collocation, and DAS/small cell projects.
- Conducting regular site visits during various phases of construction, including bid walks, preconstruction meetings, and project closeouts.
- Managing project budgets by negotiating costs, ensuring competitive rates for quality work, and communicating any issues impacting project timelines or costs.
- Ensuring compliance with, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
- Maintaining accurate project documentation and files, including closeout documents, and ensuring timely distribution according to corporate and customer standards.
- Serving as a safety observer and Quality Assurance representative, ensuring all work adheres to safety practices and workmanship standards.
Desired Qualifications:
- High School Diploma required; a Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in telecommunications or wireless construction.
- Knowledge of venue construction techniques, particularly for small-cell solutions.
- Familiarity with RF testing equipment and techniques, including RF Sweep, OTDR, Power Meter, and Passive Intermodulation (PIM) testing.
Pay Details: $24.00 to $40.00 per hour
