• Our client, a pioneer institution in technical education with a history spanning over a century, is currently seeking a Construction Manager to join their esteemed faculty. Our client is in search of a Construction Manager with significant industry experience who is eager to transition into an educational role, where prior teaching experience is NOT required but a passion for sharing knowledge and mentoring students is essential. • The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of practical experience in construction management, coupled with a genuine interest in cultivating the skills of aspiring professionals.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitates learning activities that equip students with the principles, theories, skills, and work ethic necessary for success in entry-level positions.
• Establishes a positive and engaging learning environment.
• Monitors, evaluates, and advises students on their technical and academic progress.
• Applies current industry practices and academic standards in teaching assigned courses.
• Develops and enhances lesson materials and training aids, ensuring equipment is well-maintained within the assigned course.
• Supports recruitment efforts and assists with student placement.
• Oversees equipment maintenance within the program and recommends new equipment purchases as needed.
• Collaborates with team members to design and develop new curriculum for the program.
• Provides support, mentorship, and guidance to fellow faculty members.
• Actively participates in industry or professional organizations to sustain and enhance program quality and academic integrity.

Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Construction Management (or related field) OR Bachelors degree in Construction Management (or related field) AND certification in your area of expertise
• 3+ more years construction experience

Compensation:

• Base salary to 88k/year
