About the Job
You will play a key role in driving revenue growth and expanding market presence within the waterproofing technology sector. This position combines strategic sales planning with technical knowledge of waterproofing and roofing technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background and a deep understanding of the construction industry, particularly waterproofing solutions.
* This role will be the main salesperson for the company in addition to the president! There are plans to add to the sales team as the company expands*
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to increase market share and revenue.
- Identify growth opportunities and capitalize on market trends.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor.
- Collaborate with the product development team to guide the creation of innovative waterproofing solutions.
- Partner with marketing to align strategies and increase brand visibility.
- Monitor sales performance, analyze trends, and adjust strategies as needed.
- Represent the company at industry events, delivering presentations and building industry relationships.
Qualifications:
- Experience in the construction industry or building envelope sector.
- At least 5 years of sales and business development experience, ideally in construction or waterproofing.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Construction Management, or a related field (advanced degrees are a plus).
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft 365.
- Flexibility to travel 30%-50%, mostly within the US and Canada.
